The Premier League duo are the latest defensive additions to the Blues squad after signing season-long loans from Swansea
"I'm absolutely delighted with the business," said Clark. "I think everyone could see we were short in the central defensive areas and to get the two lads we have from Premier League clubs is great.
"One is a naturally left-sided centre-back, which is difficult to come by and one obviously a right-sider. I think everyone will agree seeing them around the training ground that they are two big fellas, but on top of that they’re two very talented players.
"They also fit the criteria I’m looking for of young hungry players that want to do well. They’ve both played lots of games. Kyle’s been in and around the Premier League. He was brought up by Arsenal, played up in the SPL and he played in the Championship for Sheffield United.
"I watched Dan many times last season and he just got better and better as the season progressed. I think this is the next stage in their development."
With Bartley measuring in at 6ft 4in and Burn at 6ft 7in, the Blues boss feels that in addition they will give his side some much-needed physicality
"Not only are they big strong lads but they are good players as well," he added.
"There were a couple of occasions last year where we lacked physical presence in the group. Hopefully with the addition of Kyle, Dan, Tom Adeyemi, Lee Novak and Ziggy, we’ll have an extra threat going forward."
