Blues skipper Paul Robinson reflects on day four of Blues' pre-season trip to the Republic of Ireland.

Robbo on the MK Dons training match..

"Obviously we were very frustrated with the result in the end but it was nice to get out there and get some match time. We're disappointed with the performance because we let ourselves go but, look on the bright side, it's better to get those sorts of performances out the way now in pre-season.

Robbo on the rare Irish heat....

"It's been really hot out here and we didn't really expect it to be this hot. We haven't had a bit of rain since we've been here and it has been very hot because there's been no breeze as well. We've been trying to get used to it and we are working hard during the day, we're not resting in between. It's quite tough but this is what pre-season is all about and we just have to deal with it."

Robbo on the other aspects of pre-season training...

"We've been doing a lot of gym, balancing and core work. We've also been out on the bikes early in the morning at 8am for 45 minutes and then we've been doing football and endurance work and running to keep on top of our fitness levels so it's been tough. The lads are tired at the moment and they're looking forward to their beds ready to get going tomorrow.
