Two lucky Blues fans will have the chance to line-up alongside the first-team squad in the pre-season photo-call as part of a new diamond sponsorship deal announced with EZE Group, the lifestyle and leisure experts.
Last season’s main shirt sponsors and principal partners will be continuing with the popular EZE Wishes campaign after announcing a new deal with with the club which will see them become the club’s official diamond sponsor and travel, leisure and entertainment partner.
EZE Wishes is designed to recognise and reward those deserving fans who have either overcome personal adversity, carried out outstanding work in the community or shown tremendous support for the Blues over the years.
Last year more than a dozen supporters were recognised through the EZE Wishes campaign and now, to mark the start of the new season, EZE Group and Blues are seeking nominations for the first 2013/14 wish – lining up alongside the first-team squad for the traditional club photo-call.
Dominic O’Reilly, chief executive of EZE Group, said: “We have developed a tremendous relationship with the club and the fans over the last two seasons and are delighted to be continuing as diamond sponsors for the forthcoming season.
“The EZE Wishes campaign in particular has been a big hit with supporters and we’re looking forward to fulfilling even more dreams for fans over the coming months.”
Ian Dutton, commercial manager at Birmingham City FC said: “EZE Group has been an important partner over the last two seasons and we are really pleased to be continuing with the relationship under the new diamond sponsorship.”
Fans have two chances to take part in the pre-season photo-call which will take place at St. Andrew’s on Monday, July 29. To make a nomination for an EZE Wish they should email email@example.com
stating why that person deserves to line-up alongside the players.
Alternatively, they can visit the EZE Group Facebook page
and by liking it they will be entered into a free draw for one lucky fan to be selected for the photo-call.
“This season even if fans aren’t selected for an EZE Wish they will have a second chance of winning money can’t buy opportunities through the club, simply by visiting and liking our Facebook page,” added Dominic O’Reilly.
The closing date for both the EZE Wish nominations and Facebook
draw is mid-day on Wednesday, July 24, 2013.
