Famous Bluenose David Harewood MBE has been handed a place on the Broad Street Walk of Stars - and a personalised shirt from his boyhood club!

The Small Heath-raised star, known recently for his role as David Estes in the hit American series Homeland, was back in Birmingham yesterday to accept his home city's special honour in recognition of his global contribution to film and television.

The Brummie has been a Blues fan all his life so the club offered their own congratulations in the form of the new 2013/14 home shirt with 'Harewood 1' on the back. The 47-year-old was also formally invited to attend a forthcoming fixture at St. Andrew's.

David proudly displayed his new shirt with pride before a Q&A session at Cineworld, Broad Street ahead of a screening of the critically acclaimed Blood Diamond, in which he stars as a ruthless warlord.

BluesTV also had chance to sit down with the top actor to discuss all things Birmingham City and you can check out what he had to say below.
