A thoroughly disappointed Clark on the result at Leicester City:
"I'm sick of saying that we've lost again and we need to put it right. I said to the players at half-time that we needed to get out and stop shots but there were too many of their players having too many opportunities and we didn't do it enough. We got what we deserved in the end.
"It shouldn't be down to a lack of confidence. You've got to be men to play this game and you shouldn't be shrinking violets. If things aren't going your way, you don't disappear you get out there and show them what you're about because that's what you're paid for."
Green on a bitter sweet afternoon:
"It was great to get off the mark with my first Championship goal but I would have taken a win over everything today. It was gutting and we've got a deflated changing room in there to a certain extent.
"It's a difficult one to take. Leicester have found a bit of form although we could have kept it better up top and given our defenders a bit of a break.
"There was, at times, some terrific football from us played out there and our defenders were absolutely class to keep a clean sheet for that long (78 minutes) but it's just sucker punches that have let us down."
