Blues Ladies suffered defeat in their penultimate FA Women's Super League fixture of the 2013 season.

A third-minute screamer from Jordan Nobbs and a deflected Rachel Yankey free-kick in the 57th minute was enough to wrap up a 2-0 victory for Arsenal.

The visitors were given a chance to get back into the game when Emma Mitchell was dismissed for a professional foul in the Gunners area on Kirsty Linnett, however Cherie Rowlands saved the resulting spot-kick from Izzy Christiansen.
