James Fry

Blues defender James Fry has joined non-league side Leamington on a one-month emergency youth loan.

The 18-year-old's loan spell with the Skrill North outfit will run from today until 29 October.

The Brakes, who are managed by Paul Holleran, have made a disappointing start to the 2013/14 campaign. They are currently in 18th place with just a solitary win from their opening eight league games.

Fry will be eligible to play for his new side this Saturday in their FA Cup 2nd Qualifying Round tie away at Solihull Moors.

Hailing from Hall Green, Fry is predominantly a centre-half, but has also been used as a full-back in the Blues Development Squad. He signed a one-year professional contract with Blues earlier this year but has yet to make his first team bow.
