The latest Blues Academy product in the spotlight is midfielder Demarai Gray, who made his first-team debut against Millwall on Tuesday evening.

What was the first team you played for? Cadburys Athletic.
How were you spotted by Blues? I was scouted at U10/11.
How long have you been at the club? Six to seven years.
Who has been the biggest influence on you since joining the club? Nathan Redmond.
What are your strengths as a player? Pace, dribbling and technique.
If you could improve any part of your game what would it be? To score more goals.
What would be a successful 12 months for you now? Gaining a pro-contract and making a first-team appearance (Note - Demarai answered these questions before the Millwall game).
What is the best piece of advice you’ve been given? Play/do it for yourself.
