The votes have now been counted and the top ten Blues moments of 2013* are as follows...

1 - Crystal Palace 0 Blues 4 - March
Blues produced a stunning display to rout Crystal Palace in the capital – securing their third consecutive victory in the process. Palace hadn’t lost at Selhurst Park since the first day of the season, but goals from Nathan Redmond, Nikola Zigic, Ravel Morrison and Shane Ferguson put pay to that record in emphatic fashion.

2 - Blues 4 Stoke City 4 (2-4 pens) - October.
Blues’ hopes of making the last eight of this season’s Capital One Cup were cruelly dashed by Premier league opposition as they were beaten 4-2 on penalties by Stoke City. The spot-kicks followed  a sensational 120 minutes of football in which Blues battled their way to a 4-4 draw despite playing the majority of the game with ten men after Wade Elliott was sent for an early bath.

3 - Jesse Lingard's four-some debut against Sheffield Wednesday - September.
Jesse Lingard made a fairytale start to his St. Andrew’s loan stint with a four-goal blast to gun down the Owls. The Old Trafford starlet completed a rapid hat-trick in the space of 13 first-half minutes and added another goal soon after the break, just for good measure. It was some way to announce his arrival in the Second City.

4 - Blues 3 Swansea City 1 - September.
Blues claimed a tremendous scalp at St. Andrew's as they dumped holders Swansea City out of the Capital One Cup courtesy of second-half strikes from Dan Burn, Matt Green and Tom Adeyemi. Lee Clark’s side rode their luck during the opening period after the Premier League side wasted several good opportunities. But as much as Swansea bossed the first-half, Lee Clark’s men were equally as dominant after the break and ripped their visitors apart with clinical ease.

5 - Nikola Zigic's 'like a light bulb' line in the Blues Christmas Carol -  December.
The Serbian striker provided some Christmas merriment with his singing performance during the Blues players' Christmas Carol video. Just watch and see!

6 - Mitch Hancox's day out in the away end at Derby County -  October.
Born and bred Bluenose Mitch Hancox joined the fans in the away end at Pride Park. And of course when it came to singing Blues songs, Mitch blasted them out with the best of them and it was all captured on camera by Blues fan Davo.

7 - Blackburn Rovers 2 Blues 3 -  December.
Blues ended the 2013 calendar year on a high as they dispatched Blackburn Rovers 3-2 at Ewood Park. Blues found themselves 3-0 up at the break but had to fight to the bitter end to claim victory after Blackburn staged a second-half fight-back.

8 - Yeovil Town 3 Blues 3 (2-3 pens) - August.
Blues booked their place in the third round of the Capital One Cup after a dramatic and controversial tie at Huish Park. Yeovil let Blues walk in a goal unopposed to make amends for their own 'unsporting' equaliser - and following extra time Blues won the contest on penalties.

9 - Blues 4 Millwall 0 - October.
Blues swept aside the Lions with an impressive 4-0 win at St. Andrew’s. Full-back David Murphy was the unlikely scored goalscoring hero as he struck twice in the first-half, with Tom Adeyemi netting a third in the 69th minute and Jesse Lingard scoring late on.

10 - Blues 2 Nottingham Forest 1 - February.
Blues chalked up back-to-back victories for the first time in the 2012/13 season as a Chris Burke double made it a miserable St. Andrew’s return for Alex McLeish. Burke’s strikes came in either half, the first a goal-of-the-season contender, and although Billy Sharp’s late penalty frayed a few home nerves, Blues saw out the game.
