Clark has drafted in the Slovakia U21 international on a one-month youth loan from Manchester City as he bids to bolster his side's firepower.
However, with no decision forthcoming from United, the Blues boss has moved quickly to add 19-year-old Rusnak on a temporary basis.
And while he jokingly suggests that fans shouldn't necessarily expect a repeat of Lingard's fairytale start, Clark is excited by his latest addition.
"Albert is a player I know well," Clark told bcfc.com. "He plays in a Jesse Lingard-type of role and is a similar type of player. I wouldn't be saying that he'll probably go and score four on his debut but we're really excited by him.
"I spoke to Patrick Viera at Manchester City and he has really high hopes for Albert to be in and amongst their array of mega talent next season in their first- team squad. We're delighted that Patrick and Manchester City have allowed Albert to come to us. We're looking forward to working with him.
Clark added: "We've been given permission to play him in the FA Cup by City so we'll be looking to put him in there for Saturday.
"The type of players that we now have in the midfield areas are all talented ball players and that gives us the possibility to change one or two things higher up the pitch. All the strikers that we have give us something different so Albert will be able to link up with them."
