Talented teenager Reece Brown has put pen-to-paper on his first professional contract with the club.

The Blues Academy graduate has signed a two-and-a-half year deal having already chalked up four first-team appearances at the tender age of 17.

The Dudley-born prodigy has been with the club since the age of ten and has made rapid progress through the ranks to develop into another shining star off the academy's conveyor belt of talent.

With international honours for England at U16 and U17 level, Brown made his first-team debut as a 51st minute during the Sky Bet Championship fixture at Burnley in September.

Lee Clark then handed the midfielder his first senior start during the 3-0 FA Cup with Budweiser third-round victory over Bristol Rovers earlier this month.
