Bartley has been out of action since the New Year's Day draw against Barnsley with a hamstring injury.
The centre-half's return comes at just the right time, as captain Paul Robinson sits out the first of two games after collecting his tenth booking of the season at the weekend in the 2-1 defeat to Swansea City.
Bartley is expected to partner American youth international Will Packwood, who put in an assured display alongside Robinson against the Swans.
"I've lost my captain for two games because of a suspension and that is a real blow because he was terrific again on Saturday," said Clark.
"But I’ve got Tom Adeyemi who had a good 30 minutes against Swansea and Kyle Bartley ready to come back, so that gives us a physical presence again on Tuesday."
Turning to Packwood’s contribution against the Swans, Clark added: "I thought Will was absolutely brilliant. His whole game – his defending, winning aerial duels and his quality on the ball as well. He will get another opportunity tomorrow night."
Meanwhile the Blues treatment room is still playing host to Matt Green (knee), Jonathan Spector (thigh), David Murphy (knee), Akwasi Asante (hamstring) and Neal Eardley (knee).
