"Aaron is a player that we monitored when he was at Southampton and he had a loan spell at Coventry.
"We think he can come in and do a good job for us. He was leaving Southampton and was going to be out of contract so was attractive to us as well because he wasn't going to take up a loan spot. So we can certainly sign him on a permanent deal at the end of the season. He’s come highly-motivated to prove that he can stay at the club beyond this short-term contract, so we’re looking forward to having him.
"We hope the signings me make, make the same impact that the signings in the first half of the season did. As I've said whenever you sign players it’s a risk because we're in the market where we’re signing young players that haven’t probably played at this level before.
"But we believe in the lads and we’re hopefully giving them a platform where they can show their abilities."
