New recruit Aaron Martin talks of his delight after signing for Blues.

The former Southampton defender said: "It's a massive opportunity for myself, it's a great club and I can't wait to get stuck in."

Manager Lee Clark brought in the 24-year-old in this week following the return of Dan Burn and Kyle Bartley to their respective parent clubs during this transfer window.

Martin, who spent five years on the south coast with the Saints and also had loan spells at Crystal Palace and Coventry City is keen to get his Blues career up and running as soon as possible: "I've got so much to give, I just want to make sure I hit the ground running and do as well as I can for the club."
