Birmingham City goalkeeper Darren Randolph took a lot of personal delight out of the victory over his old club Charlton Athletic.

It was the Republic of Ireland international's first return to The Valley since he left the Addicks for Motherwell back in 2010.

And the in-form 26-year-old was quick to express his delight at the result to BluesTV. Randolph said: "Out of most games this season, today was one of the games that I wanted to win the most and it's even better that I managed to keep a clean sheet. With the pitch at The Valley and the weather, it was always going to be horrible but we had to do the horrible things well and we managed to do that."

Now watch the full BluesTV interview with Randolph below.
