Blues teenager Viv Solomon-Otabor has joined Skrill North side Oxford City on a youth loan until the end of the season.

It will be the 18-year-old winger's first loan spell since joining Blues in 2012.

He has yet to make his first-team bow for Blues, but has been a regular in the U18s and U21s sides. In last week's U18s win against Millwall, he hit a hat-trick in the 6-1 rout of the Lions.

Solomon-Otabor is the seventh Blues player currently out on loan.

City, who are managed by former Leicester City and Cardiff City player Mike Ford, are currently struggling in 20th place in the table, nine points ahead of bottom side Workington.

However, because of recent postponements, they have at least three games in hand on the sides immediately above them in the table.

Solomon-Otabor will be in line for his senior debut for Saturday's visit of Gainsborough Trinity.
