The Blues All-Stars will soon be returning to the pitch after their winter break with a host of scheduled games during the upcoming months.

Former Blues favourites such as Lee Carsley, Jeff Kenna, Paul Devlin, Dele Adebola, Tommy Mooney, Martin O’Connor and Robert Hopkins will be lacing up their boots once more for charity matches across the region.

Birmingham Children’s Hospital will be amongst those to benefit with the old boys’ game against Smithswood Firs on 13 April at Mackadown Lane raising funds for that excellent cause.

The free-scoring team, run by ex-St. Andrew’s skipper Kevan Broadhurst and Free Radio’s head of sport Tom Ross, recorded six straight victories during the first half of this season, bagging 36 goals and conceding just six.

Their next three scheduled games are…

Mar 9 v Knowle Over 35s
Knowle FC, KO 11am

Mar 30 v Police/Council X1
Tally Ho, KO 11am

Apr 13 v Smithswood Firs
Mackadown Lane, iKO 11am. In aid of the Children's Hospital
