First team captain Paul Robinson will take charge of the Blues development squad in tonight's Birmingham Senior Cup quarter-final against Hednesford Town.

The U21s reached this stage of the competition with wins over AFC Wulfrunians and Tipton Town.

Thirty-five-year-old Robinson, who is currently studying for his UEFA B coaching badge, has been given the responsibility for this evening's fixture by boss Lee Clark, following Richard Beale and Steve Watson's greater involvement with the first team.

The stand-in boss will have a number of senior players at his disposal; including Peter Lovenkrands, Andy Shinnie, Tyler Blackett and Brian Howard.

Tonight's tie against the Skrill North side is being played at Hednesford's Keys Park Stadium and kicks-off at 7.45pm. Tickets are priced at £6 for adults and £4 for concessions. For directions to Keys Park, click here

The full Blues squad is: Preston, Sutherland, Blackett, Webb, Kelly, Bell, Howard, Truslove, Lovenkrands, Shinnie, Arthur, Hales, Trueman, Dacres-Cogley, McGee, Cooper.
