Blues Academy goalkeeper Callum Preston has joined Skrill North side Worcester City on a work experience deal.

The 18-year-old was drafted in by Worcester boss Carl Heeley after regular keeper Ryan Boot was recalled by his parent club Port Vale.

Preston was thrown straight in at the deep end on Saturday as he made his debut away at North Ferriby United.

Unfortunately, he was unable to prevent his new team from losing 2-1 to their top of the table opponents.
