Blues take on Arsenal Ladies in the first-leg at St. Andrew's on Monday evening (7pm kick-off) with the return tie being played at Barnet's The Hive on Sunday 30 March (2pm kick-off).
"I'm really excited about the game, it's the biggest game in the club's history." said Carney, the new Blues skipper.
"The opportunity to play in the semi-final of the Champions League is at stake, it's a massive game and one that everybody is looking forward to."
In the previous rounds, Blues knocked out Finnish and Russian opposition - running out 4-0 aggregate winners against PK-35 Vantaa and 7-2 winners against FK Zorkiy.
England international Carney, a former Gunner herself, is keen to make sure that her side prepare well before they take on a new-look Arsenal side: "We do know a little bit about Arsenal, but within the last 12 months they've lost loads of players and new players have come in, though we know about them, they've changed dramatically, they're effectively a new team.
"We're going to go about our business but they are definitely a top side and they've got top international players."
Jo Potter, another former Arsenal player, added: "I'm really looking forward to it, it's going to be a great spectacle for fans and it's going to be brilliant for players and staff that are involved in it."
The ladies played their second leg against FK Zorkiy at St. Andrew's and they are back at the stadium again for the quarter-final, an opportunity the girls are looking forward to:
"It's massive," continued Potter. "That's what you want to do, you want to be playing at stadiums and arenas that are on a stage like this and that's what we've been working for for the past three months."
With pre-season going well, Potter believes her side have got what it takes to progress to the semi-finals: "I'm confident in the group, I'm confident in us as a squad.
"I think we've got a real togetherness this year and its showing within training and friendlies. We've got a good bunch of girls."
