Loan signing Tom Thorpe made a winning return to Birmingham City as Blues ran out 3-1 winners over Doncaster Rovers at the Keepmoat Stadium.

Thorpe made his second debut for Blues and the defender was pleased to get off to a win: "I'm very happy to have done that (come back to a win), got the three points today in a very good game."

Thorpe made his Blues debut earlier in the season, but lasted only 15 minutes before been stretchered off. Having re-signed on loan from Manchester United, Thorpe is glad to be back:  "I was happy to get the chance to come back again and I was very pleased."

The defender completed his first 90 minutes of league football in the 3-1 win and was pleased to be playing alongside the experience of Blues skipper Paul Robinson: "He's got tonnes of experience, which makes my game easier. He's constantly talking to me and he helped me a lot."
