The club's annual Player Awards Dinner
, known this year as #PA14, will be held at the ICC Birmingham on Sunday 4 May and one Bluenose will be crowned the 2014 EZE Group Supporter of the Season.
Now it's down to Bluenoses to vote for their winner from three extraordinary supporters detailed below.
What’s more all fans who vote will be entered into a free prize draw to win two tickets, courtesy of EZE Group, at #PA14 next month.
All you have to do to cast your vote is read the nominations below and then either tweet #EZEGroupFanA, #EZEGroupFanB or #EZEGroupFanC or e-mail email@example.com with EZE Group Fan A B or C in the subject line.
EZE Group Fan A – Andy ‘AKA George’ Reilly
Andy has only missed one game home and away since 1986 and that was because the date was moved and he couldn't arrange time off work. What’s more during that period Andy attended all of the Anglo Italian matches, friendly games and pre-season tours which have taken him to far flung destinations such as Malaysia, Austria, Hong Kong and China.
Andy started taking his son Jack 12 years ago and as well as attending all first-team fixtures the father and son have also taken in all reserve games home and away for the last eight years.
After each game Andy meticulously keeps all the programmes in sealed bags.
EZE Group Fan B – Arthur Moug
Despite being diagnosed with terminal cancer Arthur, or Art as he is known, travels all the way from Sawchatewan in Canada to watch the Blues play. A Canadian by birth, Art came to work in Birmingham in the 1970s and quickly fell in love with the city and of course the club.
Even though he has to travel thousands of miles to watch his beloved Blues, Arthur still manages to come over to cheer them on whenever he can, often defying medical advice to do so. Art has travelled from Canada twice this season to follow Blues home and away and wherever he goes he sings the praises of the club and the city.
EZE Group Fan C – David “Wally” Walsh.
Before he sadly lost his battle with cancer in January this year, David “Wally” Walsh was the heart and soul of the terraces for around 40 years. Originally from Redditch, Wally moved to Mexico a few years ago but still managed to come over to support the Blues and had an amazing record of attending around 20 pre-season tours starting right back in the 1980s.
During this time he travelled all around the world following the team, visiting far flung destinations such as Norway, Austria, Ireland, Germany and China. A dedicated Facebook page displayed photos of Wally on his travels alongside the Blues flag and every conversation he had was referenced with what Blues had been doing that day and the score on that particular occasion.
The closing date for voting is 5pm on Friday 25 April and the winner will be announced at the glittering award ceremony on May 4. The winner of the free EZE Group prize draw for two tickets to the awards evening will be notified by email.
