Birmingham City captain Paul Robinson clinched a brace of top awards at the club’s #PA14 end of season dinner.

In front of 700 guests at the ICC Birmingham, the skipper claimed both the EZE Group Players’ Player of the Season and the Nicolites Player of the Season awards.

There were further honours for other members of Lee Clark’s squad after a difficult 2013/14 season finished on a high with survival from relegation on the final day of the Sky Bet Championship.

Lee Novak picked up the HJ Wealth Top Goalscorer Award following his tally of 11, while Emyr Huws’ stunning strike away at Middlesbrough was named the J.S Spooner Goal of the Season, as voted for by guests on the evening.

Young Bluenoses selected goalkeeper Darren Randolph as the Clarity Copiers True Blue Juniors’ Player of the Season. Tom Adeyemi was named the Sytner BMW Young Player of the Season, with Demarai Gray winning the Birmingham International Coaches Academy Player of the Season.

Elsewhere there was an emotional presentation with David ‘Wally’ Walsh, who passed away earlier this year, being named the EZE Group Supporter of the Season, as voted for by fellow fans.

Meanwhile, for their outstanding efforts in reaching the UEFA Women’s Champions League semi-finals, Birmingham City Ladies were handed the Hollywood Monster Special Achievement Award.
