Demarai Gray's performances for Blues have the seen the teenage winger selected for next week's England U19s Euro training camp squad.

The 17-year-old has previously played three times for the U18s national side, but has yet to make his U19s bow.

The camp is part of the build-up to England's Euro Elite Qualifying Round of fixtures later this month.

The Young Lions will play Montenegro, Ukraine and Scotland on home soil, as they aim for a place in July’s Euro Championship Finals in Hungary.

U19s boss Noel Blake will spend two days working with the group between May 13 and 15, before a smaller squad of 18 will be named for the qualifiers which begin on May 24 when Montenegro are the opponents at Walsall’s Banks’s Stadium.

Meanwhile, 16-year-old Blues centre-half Tom Lang, was in action for Scotland U17s on Friday against Portugal.

Scotland lost their opening UEFA U17 Championships fixture 2-0 in Malta, with Lang completing 67 minutes.

They will play further matches against Germany on May 12 and Switzerland on May 15.
