Lang figures for Scotland

Blues defender Tom Lang was introduced as a late substitute for Scotland U17s during their UEFA European U17 Championship fixture against Germany on Monday.

The young Scots side won the game 1-0, thanks to Scott Wright’s second-half goal at Malta's Hibernians Stadium.

Lang played the last 17 minutes of the game, which took place at Malta's Hibernians Stadium.

Scotland now face Switzerland on Wednesday knowing a draw will see them advance to last four along with Portugal, who sealed their place in the semi-finals earlier with a 1-0 win over Switzerland.

Meanwhile, Blues youngster Bobby Moseley could be in action lfor the Republic of Ireland U19 side later today, when they host Mexico U20s in Dublin (7pm kick-off).
