Club photographer Roy Smiljanic

Blues' club photographer Roy Smiljanic has put together a selection of his favourite pictures taken during the 2013/14 campaign.

There are 21 images in Roy's selection and below each picture, he briefly explains why he chose it.

Pic 1: I was just pleased to get a snap of Ziggy and Peter Crouch playing against each other on the same pitch. Surely it must be the tallest strike force playing in the same match in the history of the Football League?

Pic 2: Fun photo 1: Olly Lee shows Karen Carney what he thinks of her pizza-making skills at the men's v women's challenge event.
2
Pic 3: Fun Photo 2: Kristine and Barry Fry at PA14. This pic sums up Baz and their relationship perfectly!
3
Pic 4: Pre season: Ziggy and myself had to do national service, as it is still mandatory in Serbia! During a paintball session in Ireland, Zig looks the part and shows that he would know how to win at Halo!
4
Pic 5: Federico Macheda's goal celebration v Charlton. His massive contribution in finding the back of the net was vital to our season.
5
Pic 6: The goal of the season. Paul Caddis', late, late show against Bolton Wanderers ensures another season in the Chamionship, and sends the travelling Bluenoses into a frenzy. Just when you think you have seen it all as club snapper and fan of 46 years, another moment in our history left me breathless and amazed.
6
Pic 7: Ziggy at Bolton. As the final whistle blown, the emotion of the result and playing what is probably his last match for the club, sinks in.
7
Pic 8: Kyle Bartley and Dan Burn celebrate v Middlesbrough.
8
Pic 9: Man of the people - Federico Macheda celebrates with the travelling fans v Charlton.
9
Pic: 10: Despite the tough results at home, the management still find time to share a smile on the bench.
10
Pic 11: The passion of being a player and a Bluenose - Mitch Hancox's face says it all.
11
Pics 12  & 13: Emyr Huws' screamer v Burnley. A superb goal, something to cheer about at home and fantastic celebration to match !
12
13
Pic 14: It's always great to see an Academy player make the first team and score his first senior goal, Demarai Gray managed to notch his first against Blackburn.
14
Pic 15: A debut to remember in the years to come. Jesse Lingaard celebrates his fantastic foursome v Sheffield Wednesday.
15
Pic 16: Jonathan Spector hitches a ride on top of a Sheffield Wednesday defender - I just like the pic!
16
Pic 17: Callum, Robbo and Burkey sum up the home form in this pic v Reading.
17
Pic 18: Ziggy v Milwall away. Reasurring the fans it will be 'alright on the night' as he celebrates his goal.
18
Pic 19: My favourite goal of the season apart from Cadds v Bolton, Lee Novak's sublime finish and deft piece of skill v Derby County.
19
Pic 20: Robbo v Blackburn shows his commitment and passion to the fans and the cause.
20
Pic 21: Burkey v Ipswich. He really enjoys his goal!
