Another Blues Network success

Posted: Wed 25 Jun 2014

Almost 100 local business people gathered at St. Andrew’s on Wednesday morning for the latest Blues Networking Breakfast.

The regular get-togethers, give local businesses a chance to get acquainted with other businesses in the area, as well as allowing the club to showcase the award-winning facilities, food and customer service that Birmingham City FC provide at all events, conferences and matchdays.

This morning’s business breakfast, which was sponsored by Birmingham St. Mary’s Hospice and HJ Wealth Planning, saw attendees enjoy a full English breakfast before hearing from keynote speaker Steve Smith, entrepreneur and founder of Poundland.

Theresa Meek from Birmingham St Mary’s Hospice and Elliot Hall from Zapaygo also spoke briefly to showcase their charity and company respectively.

Those who attended also had a chance to win prizes in the raffle and the business card drop, with the money raised being donated to St Mary’s Hospice.
