Wes Thomas feels that the team are beginning to understand each others game.

The striker was one of nine summer additions but feels that despite the large number of new-recruits they are quickly gaining an understanding of each other.

Speaking after the 3-0 victory over Kidderminster Harriers, he said: “I think we’re getting to know the way each other play a lot more and the more games we play with each other the better it’s going to be. It’s been a good start so far and hopefully it can continue.”

Thomas' two goals helped Blues to victory and he is keen to continue impressive ahead of the season opener at Middlesbrough: “You have to keep impressing everyone wants to be in the first game of the season and hopefully I can do that."
