Birmingham City defender Jonathan Grounds spoke to BluesTV after his side recorded their fourth straight pre-season win by beating Notts County 4-0.
The versatile defender, who found himself playing at centre-back at Meadow Lane, netted Blues' fourth: "I probably should have had one a little bit earlier on, the one that the keeper saved and Clayton (Donaldson) stuck in, I probably should have scored that one.
"I don't think in the last couple of years I've scored enough goals, hopefully that's something I can add this year." he later added.
Blues win over Notts County made it four on the bounce for Lee Clark's side and it's proof that what they are doing in training is working - having not conceded a single goal yet: "It's something we work on on the training pitch, we do a lot of unit work with the coaches and its paying dividends."
