Goalkeeper Darren Randolph was voted Birmingham City's man of the match at Middlesbrough on Saturday.

The Republic of Ireland international claimed the accolade with 57% of the supporters' vote on the Blues Wall.

The 27-year-old produced a string of important second-half saves to keep the score at 2-0 on a disappointing opening day at the Riverside Stadium.

Here's what a few fans on our Facebook page had to say about Randolph's performance:

Matt Neal:"It would have been 6 or 7 without him."

Adam bcfc Bailey:"Without Randolph's saves yesterday it would of been 5 or 6-0 that's why he deserved MOTM. Only player that showed up."
