Referee confirmed for Ipswich game

Posted: Sun 17 Aug 2014

Roger East will take charge of Blues’ home game against Ipswich Town on Tuesday evening (7.45pm kick-off).

This is only the second game of the season for the Wiltshire-based official. In his opener, which was a League Two match between Plymouth and Exeter, he cautioned six players.

During the 2013/14 campaign he refereed a total of 29 games, where he dished out 101 yellow cards and two reds.

The last Blues game he refereed was Blues' 1-0 away defeat at Brighton & Hove Albion in January in the Sky Bet Championship. Six players were cautioned that day; including Hayden Mullins, Callum Reilly and Olly Lee for Blues.

Mr East will be assisted by Mark Scholes and Michael Salisbury.
