David Edgar was voted man of the match by Blues fans against Ipswich Town on Tuesday night.

The Canada international scored the opener during the 2-2 draw at St. Andrew's and went on to gain 44% of the Blues Wall vote.

And here's what Blues fans had to say about the summer recruit's performance on Facebook and Twitter.

Adam Willett: "Edgar, caddis, donaldson, davies, and cotterill had a cracking game. Blues are looking great at moment, just need to tighten up a little on set pieces and stop bein so negative when there's 15-20 mins left by goin defensive. Ruins the tempo for us and we play negative as well as panic. Let's keep going though and stay positive well done lads kro, result or no result against Sunderland. Try and consolidate above relegation this year!! KRO!!"

Lee Lee Gibb: "Another good game, shame ref spoiled it n dunno where the 5 added mins came from"

Phillip Wilkes: "Edgar needs to play at center back, not midfield."

Ben Wallcroft: "Shame he didn't stop the second goal. Team is looking strong. The best starting 11."

David Hirst: "Good ball controll"

Rob Moore: "Had a great game but switched off for their second goal letting Berra get across the front of him."

@LeeAHinton: "Added alot to the defence, solid, a threat when going forward. Played really well last night."

@MrsTopCat75: "he's got a bushy beard in the making."
