Fans were able to purchase the new adidas 17/18 away kit from the Blues Store and online this morning.

Supporter Dannie Andrews from Highgate was the first person to get his hands on one after he personalised his new shirt with ‘Andrews 75’.

The kit, which is also available online, features classic piping detail across the shoulders and onto the back combined with engineered fabric woven into the sleeves.

Innovation is at the heart of the kit with both the jersey and shorts featuring ventilated adidas climacool®, to keep you cool and dry, along with a woven crest execution designed to reduce irritation on the skin.

The shirt is accompanied with blue shorts and white socks.

“It’s always exciting to get the first kit on sale,” said Head of Retail and Ticketing Wayne Cowen.

“We’ve received great feedback from this year’s adidas away kit and I’m delighted to see so many people here bright and early to buy one.”

In addition, supporters were also able to buy the new 17/18 goalkeeping shirt and training wear.

The shirt was revealed by new signing David Stockdale on Wednesday and comes only in long sleeve.

The training wear features a stylish energy orange look.
