The Development Squad's match has fallen foul of the weather.

Blues were due to take on Sheffield United at the Stocksbridge Stadium this lunchtime. But the game was postponed due to a waterlogged pitch.

Two trialists were set to be included in Richard Beale's side, who have won their last three league and cup matches.

Blues are taking a look at former MK Dons defender Jordan Spence, who is out of contract.

Right-back Spence, a former England Under-21 international, would have been involved subject to clearance.

The 26-year-old came up through the ranks at West Ham United. He is seeking a club after release from MK Dons in the summer, where he spent the last three seasons.

Beaconsfield winger Ollie McCoy was going to get another chance to impress, but Blues have ended their interest in Barnsley defender Elliot Kebbie after a two-game trial.

Adam Legzdins, Paul Robinson, Reece Brown (pictured), Jack Storer and Viv Solomon-Otabor were also included in the squad for the PDL 2 match.
