Over 100 like-minded business professionals attended yesterday afternoon's Blues Network event at St. Andrew’s.

In a change from the usual breakfast mornings, delegates were able to sample some of our tasty selection of cakes, sandwiches and speciality teas from our newly-introduced Afternoon Tea menu.

The Blues Network gives local businesses a chance to get acquainted with other businesses in the area, as well as allowing Blues to showcase the facilities, food and customer service that Birmingham City provide at all events, conferences and matchdays.

We were delighted to welcome Club partners HJ Wealth Planning and Mainstream Print as sponsors of this quarter’s event, and they addressed delegates on the array of services they can offer.

Our main guest speaker was Steve Dann, Director of Fleet Street Communications, who discussed the changing landscape of the media across Birmingham.

There was also a raffle to raise funds for local charity Love Brum, who support hard-to-reach good causes to deliver positive change across the city.

The raffle winners were…

Bottle of House Red & White Wine – Vanessa Healy Gwilliams from Babington Group
Exclusive 2016/17 Season BCFC silk tie – Rosalind Wilson from Edgbaston Stadium
Football signed by the First Team squad – Lucia De La Fuente from Bierkeller Complex
Voucher for two guests to enjoy Cream Tea at St. Andrew’s – James Devesey from Voice Mobile
An invitation for two guests to dine in our Jasper Carrott Suite to watch a Grade C midweek game of their choice – Bonny Parkes from Morgan Parkes Recruitment.
