New boys speak to BluesTV after Deadline Day moves

Posted: Wed 31 Aug 2016

BluesTV caught up with Rhoys Wiggins and Lukas Jutkiewicz after they joined from Bournemouth and Burnley respectively.

Left-back Wiggins said that he is hoping to impress when given the chance by Gary Rowett: "I’m going to have to be patient I think and bide my time because the team is doing well at the minute. I’ll just look to impress in training and hopefully get some game time.

"I’m an energetic player, I get up and down. I like to think of myself as solid defensively and I like to help going forwards so if I can get all that in I’ll be happy."

After putting pen to paper on Wednesday morning, Jutkiewicz took part in his first training session as a Blues player and was pleased to get to work straight away. He said: "It's great to get it done and get out on the training pitch.

"It was a tough session. The International breaks are a good time to get a bit of fitness in the legs."
