The child-friendly section of the Main Stand has been given a summer makeover in preparation for the start of the 2012/13 campaign.
Courtesy of talented graffiti artists KeMeF Inc, a cacophony of colour now adorns the walls.
Images of Blues’ mascots Beau Brummie and Belle, memorable kits from bygone eras, a new Morris the Mole character and even a mini football pitch are just some of the sights that will greet families this season.
The area also includes a ‘Home Sweets Home’ kiosk where youngsters will be able to get their hands on tasty footy-themed lunchboxes and candy floss.
Blues boss Lee Clark, star of the 2011/12 season Chris Burke and new-boy Ben Gordon were all on hand earlier today to formally open the new-look Family Stand.
And to add to the occasion, Burke and Gordon were sporting the club’s new striking away and third kits.
At the unveiling, Clark said: "I think it's fantastic. I've got young children of my own and if I wasn't in the position of being a manager and wanted to come and visit the ground, having an area like that is ideal. It's a great idea because we want to encourage families and youngsters to come and watch the game and be a part of the future."
