The Three Lions face the Euro 2012 finalists at the Stade de Suisse in Berne on 15 August (8pm kick-off).

It will be chance for 19-year-old Butland to gain further experience with the senior England squad having been a member of Hodgson’s party that travelled out to Poland and Ukraine for this summer’s European Championships.

The Bristol-born star also gained further international experience this year by playing every minute of Team GB’s run to the 2012 Olympics quarter-finals, where they were eliminated by South Korea on penalties.
