A stunning Rachel Williams goal secured a point for Blues Ladies on the opening day of the FA Women's Super League
After a bright start from Blues it was the hosts Chelsea who opened the scoring at Staines Town F.C through Sofia Jakobsson after a quarter-of-an-hour.
England international Williams had already threatened in the 26th minute before firing the visitors level in style with a 25-yard screamer two minutes later.
The lively encounter saw both goalkeepers called into action for the remainder of the first-half but scores remained level at the break.
Kirsty Linnett, on for her debut, came close to winning it for Blues in the second-half while Williams missed a glorious opportunity in the 77th minute but David Parker's side had to settle for a share of the points.
