Cool deal for BCLFC

Birmingham City Ladies Football Club is delighted to announce Aspen Cooling Ltd as a Platinum Partner for the 2013 season.

In a first for Blues Ladies, the agreement will see the Birmingham-based firm’s logo feature on the team’s playing shorts.

Aspen Cooling Ltd are specialists in the supply, installation, service and maintenance of air conditioning and refrigeration equipment and have a long-standing association with Birmingham City.

Aspen Cooling's Operations Director, Dave Morton, said: “We are delighted to be associated with Birmingham City Ladies FC and looking forward to another successful season.”

Blues’ Head of Commercial, Ian Dutton, added: “We are delighted to secure Aspen Cooling as a Platinum Partner for Birmingham City Ladies FC.

“Aspen Cooling are currently a big sponsor to the men’s team and have been for many years. They see a real benefit in being associated with the ladies team and are delighted to be a part of the on-going success of the team moving forward.

“They also see a great deal of benefit from a branding and PR element and hope to secure some great relations with businesses in and around the ladies team and the FA Women’s Super League, we look forward to activating this outstanding  partnership.”

Blues Ladies get their competitive campaign underway this Sunday with a trip to Cardiff City in the FA Women’s Cup fifth-round (2pm kick-off). The Stratford-upon-Avon-based side are the current holders having lifted the famous silverware last season with a penalty shoot-out victory over Chelsea at Ashton Gate.

The FA Women’s Super League outfit will formally announce their Official Principal Partner this Friday at the unveiling of their new playing kit for the 2013 season. Stay tuned to for further news later this week.
