Young Blues defender Kerys Harrop (pictured) is named in her first senior squad, along with Laura Bassett, Jade Moore, Rachel Unitt and Rachel Williams.
The Three Lions host their Canadian counterparts in a friendly fixture at Rotherham United’s New York Stadium on Sunday 7 April, just over three weeks after beating the same opponents 1-0 in the Cyprus Cup final.
Speaking to the FA.com, England Ladies Coach Hope Powell: “Kerys has done well with the under-23s and we have been monitoring her for a while.
“She was with the 23s in La Manga last year and I asked her to take part in a training session with the seniors and she did okay so this is another opportunity for me to have a look at her."
