Blues Ladies were named FA Club of the Year at the 14th annual FA Women's Awards in London on Friday.

The accolade came off the back of another successful year for the FA Women's Super League runners-up having lifted the FA Women's Cup for the first time in the club's history and reached the final of the FA WSL Continental Cup for successive seasons.

2012 also saw Blues Ladies compete in the UEFA Women's Champions League for the first time and they can again look forward to that experience having secured qualification for the 2013 competition.

It also proved to be a special night for Blues' full-back Rachel Unitt who was presented with her 100th England cap at the event at the Waldorf Hilton in Aldwych.
