The Birmingham City Former Players’ Association are staging an event to celebrate the 50th anniversary of Blues’ 1963 League Cup triumph.

Exactly half a century on to the very day that Trevor Smith lifted the trophy aloft, the Legends Lounge at St. Andrew’s will be the venue for the special night on Monday May 27, starting at 7pm, with tickets costing just £10. This event has been priced to enable all supporters to join in the celebration.

As well as six of the surviving members of the 1962/63 squad, we will also be joined by players from the 70s, 80s, 90s and 00s who enjoyed relative success in League Cups tournaments, to make it a real commemoration of 50 years.

Attending the event will be...
Bertie Auld (1963 League Cup winner)
Jimmy Harris (1963 League Cup winner)
Mike Hellawell (1963 League Cup winner)
Colin Green (1963 League Cup winner)
Winston Foster (1963 League Cup squad member)
Brian Sharples (1963 League Cup squad member)
Joe Gallagher (Quarter-finalist 1974 and 1981)
Malcolm Page (1974 and 1981 squad member)
Kevin Dillon (Quarter-finalist 1981)
Liam Daish (Semi-finalist 1996)
Paul Tait (1996 squad member)
Jerry Gill (2001 League Cup final squad member)

Capacity is limited to 350 and less than 100 tickets are remaining.

The bar will be open and food will be available to purchase. Free parking for 200 cars will be available in the Kop car park.
