Blues played host to a special visitor on Saturday when the Lord Mayor of Birmingham, John Lines, took in the game against Millwall.

Councillor Lines, the city's 103rd Lord Mayor, was guest of honour in the St. Andrew's boardroom for Saturday’s match with The Lions. He was joined by Len Cale, who works for the Lord Mayor’s Charity Committee.

Coun Lines is nearing the end of his year donning the mayoral chains of office, having been sworn in last May to coincide with the 30th anniversary of his election to the council in Bartley Green – the ward he still represents.
