Malcolm Crosby joined Blues as the club's chief scout in July 2012.
Born in South Shields, Crosby has a lifetime of experience in the game.
Having started as professional with Aldershot in 1972 he went on to have playing career that spanned 12 years and more than 400 appearances before finishing with York City in 1984.
After hanging up his boots Crosby moved into coaching and management.
He is probably best known to the wider footballing community for spells as manager at Sunderland and Oxford.
In 1992 he led Sunderland to the 1992 FA Cup final.
Prior to joining Blues Crosby was head of recruitment at Oxford United.
