Senior professional development coach

A former Port Vale trainee, Beale is a UEFA A licence holder, has a degree in Sports Science and also possesses an Academy manager's licence.
 
The highly-rated young coach has progressed through the ranks of the club since joining in 2003.
 
He has performed a variety of coaching roles within the Academy, development squad and first team.
 
The first squad at the club Beale worked with included the likes of Nathan Redmond, Callum Reilly and Mitchell Hancox in the U11 age group, and he continued to mentor the trio right through to first-team level.
 
A diehard Blues fan, he has worked under numerous managers; including Alex McLeish and Chris Hughton as senior professional development coach and then was promoted during the tenure of Lee Clark to first-team coach.
 
Following the arrival of Gary Rowett as first-team manager in October 2014, he was reappointed to the role of senior professional development coach working with the U21s.
