Blues can confirm the signing of Scotland international Andrew Shinnie on a pre-contract agreement.
The 23-year-old has passed a medical and will move to St. Andrew’s on a three-year deal when his current contract with Inverness Caledonian Thistle expires in the summer.
Shinnie has spent the last two seasons in the Scottish Highlands, playing an influential role in helping Terry Butcher’s side to their current position of third in the SPL.
A creative midfielder, he has bagged an impressive 15 goals from 41 appearances so far this season and also made his international debut during a friendly against Luxembourg in November.
Born in Aberdeen, Shinnie began his career with Rangers and made his first-team debut in 2007.
He spent most of the 2008/09 season and the second-half of the 2009/10 campaign on loan at Dundee before making a permanent switch to Inverness in the summer of 2011.
Shinnie departs the Caledonian Stadium having made a total of 62 appearances, scoring 23 goals.
