Blues goalkeeper Colin Doyle has signed a new two-year contract with the club.

The 27-year-old Irishman's new deal runs until June 2015, taking in a 12th and 13th senior season at St. Andrew's.

The Cork-born stopper is Blues' longest-serving player, having first joined the club's academy back in 2001 before signing his first professional contract in 2003.

Loyal Doyle will compete for the Blues number spot next season with fellow Irishman and ex-Motherwell favourite Darren Randolph, who agreed a two-year deal with Blues earlier this week.
