Birmingham City Football Club’s Official Nutrition Partner, USN, has extended the partnership to cover the ladies’ side.

Having originally linked up with the club at the start of November, USN has now agreed to also provide the top FA Women’s Super League outfit with all their necessary nutritional requirements.

Karl Bickley, USN’s Athlete Liaison, said: "We are excited to extend our partnership with the club to encompass Birmingham City Ladies.

“Ladies football is rapidly growing in popularity and the demand on the players is forever increasing with the need for sound nutrition and supplementation strategies set to take a key role in all players’ lifestyles.

“At USN we have a diverse range of products and will be working closely with Heather (Cowan, General Manager) and Ellie (Maybury, Exercise Scientist) in the coming months to maximise the team's performance in preparation, training and recovery and hopefully enhance the players performances in what is destined to be another great season for all involved."

Heather Cowan, BCLFC’s General Manager, added: “We are delighted to be working in partnership with USN this season to enhance the performance of our team by utilising their products and expertise for training, matchdays and general lifestyle support.”

USN are market leaders in sports nutrition and already lend expert support to a whole host of top level sporting outfits including Sale Sharks, Widnes Vikings, South Africa Rugby and GB Bobsleigh as well as numerous international athletes.
