Back in 1960 Blues were first British club to reach a European final. Here in the first of a three part series we will be recalling those pioneering exploits in the Inter-Cities Fairs Cup by looking back at the games and characters from that historic era.

BLUES IN EUROPE - PART TWO 1958-1960

Blues opened up their second Fairs Cup challenge with a two-legged first round tie against German opponents 1.F.C. Cologne in October 1958.

BLUES IN EUROPE PART THREE - 1960 -1962

A third competition began early in the 1960/61 season when Blues were under the helm of a new man, the one and only Gil Merrick.
